Fool's Watch (aka Magnus Castle) is the first base created by the player Magnus_Tesshu. It is a beautiful castle featuring a church-looking tower that has a storage area attached, as well as a festive dining hall. It sits on a mountain with two towers built on top that are connected by a fancy bridge that serves as a great spot for overlooking the whole build. What makes this base outstanding, is the incredible detail that Magnus_Tesshu put into every part of the build, which results in the amazing look of this castle.

The base's location was reached on Magnus' first day of logging in. From there, he created the church-tower and decided on the signature theme of stone capped in nether brick. He continued expanding the base, focusing mainly on adding farms to obtain more types of items. Eventually, the base was discovered by Sottler. This alerted Magnus_Tesshu to the fact that it would be found, but it also gave him newfound determination to make the base something special before it eventually was destroyed. He added the feast hall and continued working on the bridge and large back section. After several more players found the base and he showed it to Fargendo and tyrannus00, he left the server for a while believing the base's time to be at an end.

What he did not expect was to find it intact weeks later after a hiatus from the server. A couple weeks after becoming active again, the base was dubbed Fool's Watch on May 18, 2020 after Magnus_Tesshu pulled a prank on many of the active players at the time. He coded a custom coordinate mod that would display a random offset to all the player's coordinates, and got several players to travel hundreds of thousands of blocks to the east to grief a "base" that was nonexistent. Because of this, some players discussed blowing up the Fool's Watch - therefore, Magnus' foolish actions nearly destroyed the base. Additionally, it is near spawn and has been found by many players, adding to the folly of the base on the normally harsh world of DMC.

Farms

The base features many smaller farms cleverly hidden in the mountain, including a pumpkin and melon farm, a sugarcane and cactus farm, an afk fishing farm with complete autosorting, a honey farm, a wool farm for all 16 wool colours, a kelp farm, a small netherwart farm, a bamboo farm, a gunpowder farm, a slime farm, and an iron farm. It also has a 23 furnace smelting array.
